Well it's the end of another year and it has been eons since I posted. I have had a lot of upheaval in my life in the past 18 months or so. When I finished my last project I was finishing up the prerequsites for nursing school to change careers. I have just recently completed the saga of earning a BS of Nursing in 4 semseters as part of an accelerated program. Sadly, there wasn't much time for stitching. I did a bit here are there between semesters. This is what I accomplished on Seasons of the Trees over the summer:
As of today, I will be starting a new job and career in a couple of weeks, I have finally taken care of the accumulated chores from the last year+, and I am starting to regain some equilibrium. I still need to pass the boards.
I have missed my stitching so much! I am glad that I will be able to participate in my yearly retreat again this year. I am hoping that I will be able to once again develop a balance between my work, exercise, stitching, and time for friends. It seems, however, that the biggest hurdle I have to face in getting stitching again is teaching my three male dogs that my stitching area is beyond sacred and that there is to be no nonsense when I'm in that area!
